Rita's On The River at Rio Plaza is located at the corner of Commerce and Navarro in downtown San Antonio. There is valet parking at Rio Plaza. Parking is available in the following area parking garages: Marina Garage on Bowie Street between Commerce & Market Streets. Rivercenter Garage on Commerce Street between Bowie and Alamo Streets. Party Guidelines

Menus and Guest Guarantees
In arranging for private functions, food and beverage menu and guaranteed minimum guest count must be selected (30) thirty days prior to the actual event. The expected number will become your guarantee, not subject to reduction. You will be charged based on this guaranteed guest count plus any additional guests that may attend. Rio Plaza prepares for up to 5% above the guaranteed guest count. A cancellation within (14) fourteen days prior to event, the client will be charged for (1/2) one-half of the final total bill.

Venue Space Confirmation
To confirm a room reservation of $500 non-refundable room rental deposit by credit card is required for all events held at Rio Plaza. Prior to receipt of venue rental, verbal reservations will be honored on a basis of first right of refusal. For the balance of your event, a credit card is required to guarantee final payment on or before the actual date of your event. If you prefer to pay by cash, corporate check or money order, full payment is due on your event date.

A/V Equipment, Specialty Cakes, Florals, Entertainment, etc.
Rio Plaza offers one-phone call assistance with any additional services you may require for your special event. Please consult your event coordinator for detailed information.

Beverages
You may choose to offer a Hosted Premium Consumption Bar, Limited Feature Bar or Cash Bar with liquor, beer, or wine, or a combination of these offerings. There is a $75 flat fee for all bars and for all events. All alcohol is provided exclusively from Rio Plaza.

Security
Rio Plaza does not accept responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles. No storage space or overnight space will be provided for any items after an event, including band equipment, cakes, pictures, gifts, centerpieces, etc.

HOSTED BAR OR CASH BAR

A wide selection of Domestic and Imported Wines is available to complement your menu. Margarita machine rental for Frozen margaritas available. Please consult with your Event Coordinator for details.

There is a three-hour limit on open bar options. No shots or doubles included in open bar option.

A bar fee of $75 for all events requiring bar service. Bartenders will be provided based on final guest count.

-There is a $75 bartender fee for all events requiring a bar.
-20% gratuity added to all food and beverage purchases
-8.125% tax is added to all food purchases
-60” Round Tables - no charge up to 8, over that, we would charge a rental fee for additional tables and chairs. Tables are set up with table cloths, polished silverware, cloth dinner napkins either on buffet or on tables.
-Buffets are set up using 8ft rectangular tables draped with linen.
-Rita's will present chips and salsa on Tables
